Sarath Jarugula Joins RichRelevance as Chief Product Officer
Data Science And Technology Veteran To Lead RichRelevance’s Personalization Product Strategy and Innovation
San Francisco, CA — August 14, 2017 — RichRelevance®, the global leader in omnichannel personalization, today announced it has appointed Sarath Jarugula as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Jarugula brings nearly 20 years of product and technology experience in enterprise search, data science, machine learning and big data analytics to RichRelevance. As CPO, he will oversee engineering, dev-ops and lead product strategy and management to drive innovation in personalization and meet the needs of RichRelevance’s world-class clients.

Jarugula most recently served as senior vice president of products at Sysomos, a leading social marketing and analytics company that serves 80% of the world’s top agencies and Fortune 500 companies. While at Sysomos, he delivered a framework for faster commercialization of data science and machine learning investment and launched massive realtime data products. He also pioneered and oversaw innovations across products that delivered search, analytics, machine learning, and data science across visual and text data.
Jarugula previously held executive roles in product and engineering at LucidWorks, the leader in enterprise search solutions, where he grew the company’s enterprise customer base across opens source and commercial product lines. He joined Lucid from InQuira (acquired by Oracle), where he was responsible for search, user experience, and new product initiatives across the company’s core Natural Language Processing and customer experience platforms. Prior to InQuira, he held product and engineering leadership roles at Knova Software, Microsoft, and eGain.
